| Warmer temperatures are starting to melt the snow pack and the area rivers
are getting dirty. In about a week they will get really dirty. You will have
to look at the lakes, until more areas open to fishing. Yellowstone National
Park is changing some regulations, and this year hooks will have to be
barbless. The price of the YNP fishing permits will be the same as last
year. Kids 15 and younger free. 16 and older 3 days $15, 7 days $20, and
season $35. |

| Between the lakes remains good with lots of rainbows being caught. A few
weeks ago small nymphs were best now glo-bugs, san Juan worms, and rubber
legs are working. Cabin creek is starting to dirty and by next weekend it
should be really high and dirty. The West fork is also starting to get dirty
and by next week it should be high and dirty. This will make the Macatee to
Ennis stretch off color. Right now it is fishable with just a touch of
color. There are hatches in the late morning and early afternoons. Big BWO
#16 and March Browns #14. Just had a customer come in who lives in Ennis and
yesterday evening he said the was a good flight of caddis just above the
Ennis bridge. This may not last long the rest of the week is going to be
warm and will trigger runoff. |

Starting to get dirty from the Taylor's fork, so it is getting prime for
rafting. You can still fish from the YNP line to the Taylor's fork. I would
use small nymphs like copper johns and olive serendipities #16 and #14. |

| Starting to open up, you can still ice fish down at the dam. There is access
at Rainbow point and at Lonsomehurst. I think by next weekend the north
shore ice will recede and fishing will be great right from shore. Woolly
buggers and leeches. Rickards seal buggers are very effective at ice out. |
