Our Region is serviced by four major airports- West Yellowstone, Bozeman (90 mi.), Idaho Falls (110 mi.), and Salt Lake City (325 mi.). Car rentals are are available at all four airports.

Our high altitude and surrounding mountains make for beautiful, but often unpredictable weather. Cold nights are often paired with hot days. It can rain or snow on any day of the year. Prepare accordingly with a variety of clothing, a raincoat, and a sun hat. For fishing polarized sunglasses and sunblock are essential.
While our rivers and lakes are truly unique, the gear needed for fishing them is not. Fly rods in the 8' to 9' range matched with a 5 or 6 wt. line are ideal for most situations. Contact us for fly suggestions, or we can set you up with the hot patterns when you get here. Felt soled waders, camers, and standard sized leaders and tippets round out the package.
